BIO
Late Native is the music artist project of Dallas-based songwriter Michael Gomez whose sound blends the classic and ambient influences of The Beatles, Motown, ’70s funk & soul, U2, and Miike Snow with a modern pop-rock edge. Formerly of the rock band RoomFour, Late Native now channels a more personal and story-driven approach, shaped by the lyricism of the American songbook and anchored by definitive drums, soulful bass, and distinctive melodies. Recorded in London at Miloco Studios with drummer Alex Torjussen, the latest singles reflect a return to creative roots in a city that feels like home. Inspired by a time of rediscovery and transformation, Late Native’s upcoming releases explore the rebuilding of love, work, and home through dreamy, cool, and hopeful soundscapes.
